ACCREDITATION CONSULTATION TRAINING PROGRAM

Accreditation Consultation Training Program

Promoting consistent quality and excellence in education and training in health service psychology.

The Accreditation Consultation Training (ACT) program is a free online training system provided by the Commission on Accreditation (CoA) and the Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation that is designed to help health service psychology training programs gain knowledge of accreditation policies, procedures and processes. The ACT program includes thirty-one self-paced modules that are organized by level of training. Each module includes a set of optional self-assessment questions to facilitate your understanding of the Standards of Accreditation (SoA).

ACT teaches you to:

Describe the CoA and the environment in which it accredits programs.

Articulate the fundamentals of the SoA and relevant Implementing Regulations.

Explain how aspects of the SoA are applied in an accreditation self-study.
