INTERIM REPORTING

Interim Report Information

To demonstrate ongoing consistency with the Standards of Accreditation (SoA), programs receiving 10 years between periodic reviews must provide an interim report 5 years after the beginning of the 10-year accreditation term.

The due date for interim reports (all levels) each year is typically January 1. You can calculate the year a program is due for the interim report based on the year in which it was last site visited, plus 5 years (e.g., if a program’s last site visit was in 2017, the interim report was due January 1, 2022). Program Directors will receive an email alerting them to the due date. For Interim Reports due in 2024 the due date was shifted to May 1, 2024. Please note that if you received less than 10 years of accreditation at your last review, you are not required to submit an Interim Report.

The interim report must be submitted through the Commission on Accreditation (CoA) Portal. Programs will receive an email when the Interim Report tab is available in the CoA Portal.

Online Interim Report Preparation Sheets

The Interim Report Preparation Sheets and table templates are provided to assist the writing process and allow access to the required information outside of the CoA Portal. However, please note that the Interim Report must be submitted online via the CoA Portal.

Please contact the Office of Program Consultation and Accreditation for additional information on interim reports.
